Inaugural Meeting of the Melbourne Citrix User Group
It’s been a long time coming and the time is nearly here for the inaugural meeting of the Melbourne Citrix User Group. On the 6th of December 2016, we’ll be really proud to kick off an independent Citrix User Group at the Golden Gate Hotel, South Melbourne.
Our aim is to create an event that remains independent from Citrix, that meets quarterly and is by the users, for the users. We’d love to have your involvement, providing the community the chance shape future events. Your group leaders will all be there and keen to hear from you:
- Marcus Wieloch, Coles
- Craig Stones, Teba
- Aaron Parker, Insentra
- Darren Bennet, rhipe
You can follow the Melbourne Citrix User Group Community on Twitter for updates and we hope to have GoToMeeting available so that the community in other locations can take part.
Agenda
We have a packed agenda for the event with the aim of you, the attendee, participating. We’d like to hear what you’d like to get out of the Citrix User Group, as well a round table for a chance to hear from you on your wins and challenges with Citrix solution in your (or customer) environments.

We have a great win with Nutanix taking a chance on us for the first event. Come to the event to hear how Nutanix helps support Citrix technologies. This is great for us and the community, so I’m really excited to have Nutanix on board.
Location
The evening’s event will be held at the Golden Gate Hotel, 238 Clarendon St, South Melbourne. The closest station is Southern Cross with trams heading down Clarendon St. Parking should also be available at the South Melbourne Markets on the corner of Coventry and Cecil Streets.
